Founder & Chief Executive Officer
A seasoned scientific leader, Valentina has directed multi-million-dollar research initiatives exploring the neural mechanisms of perception, decision-making, and learning. Her expertise spans complex experimental design and data-analysis frameworks using VR, EEG, eye-tracking, and electrophysiology. Driven by a mission to address global mental health challenges, she founded PsyMod to translate sophisticated neuroscience into clinical reality. As CEO, Valentina leads the integration of multimodal biological data into validated platforms, ensuring that cutting-edge science and large-scale, multi-institutional coordination converge to provide personalized, life-changing treatment pathways for those facing depression.
Rodrigo Triana-Del Rio, PhD
Co-founder & Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Rodrigo Triana-Del Río, PhD, is Chief Scientific Officer of PsyMod and a neuroscientist at NYU Langone’s Department of Psychiatry. He specializes in clinical trial development, regulatory strategy, and medical affairs in psychiatry, with experience across major U.S. academic centers and multinational pharmaceutical companies in the U.S. and Switzerland. He brings expertise in FDA and European regulatory pathways, GxP quality systems, protocol design, IRB and FDA submissions, multi-site coordination, and scientific publications. His pharmaceutical experience adds biomarker validation and global market insight. This dual clinical-pharma background positions him to lead the scientific and hospital commercialization strategies.
Christine Korbmacher, PhD, MBA
Clinical Development Specialist
Christine Korbmacher brings 25+ years of global experience in clinical development and operations across pharma, biotech, and CROs. She has led early- to late-stage clinical programs with deep expertise in CNS disorders, including migraine, MS, schizophrenia, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and rare diseases like myasthenia gravis and ALS. She contributed to successful NDAs for Cobenfy (schizophrenia), teriflunomide (Vumerty, MS), and memantine (Axura/Namenda, Alzheimer’s). Her strengths include clinical development strategy, trial document authorship, data interpretation, and cross-functional leadership. Dr. Korbmacher holds a PhD (Goethe Univ. Frankfurt), MBA (ISM Paris), and MSc (Univ. Tübingen). She is fluent in German, French, and English.

As an experienced Machine Learning Lead, Elias specializes in architecting high-impact AI solutions that bridge the gap between complex multimodal datasets and actionable clinical insights. His expertise lies in developing robust predictive models that integrate diverse biomarkers—from neuroimaging to behavioral data—to solve the "trial and error" challenge in mental healthcare. With a proven track record of leading technical teams through the full ML lifecycle, Elias is passionate about advancing precision psychiatry. He thrives on building scalable, interpretable algorithms that empower clinicians to personalize depression treatments, ensuring every patient receives the right intervention at the right time through data-driven innovation.
